Ford is one of the few companies in the world producing laminate shimstock for use in aerospace and industrial sectors. Easipeel shim stock employs a resin based adhesive with a number of materials and in a number of thicknesses.
Standard sheet sizes can be supplied or material can be converted to components in conjunction with customer drawings and specifications.
The materials available are carbon steel, cadmium-plated steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass, standard sheets can normally be provided straight from stock.
Easipeel is also available as a hybrid sheet or solid material and layered foils of a chosen thickness from 0.025mm to 0.1mm, standard sheet sizes are 1220mm by 610mm.
